Cruise Control: 3 things we love about Disney Cruise Line

1. Disney Experience
Certainly, a Disney Cruise means a cruise for those who are "Young at Heart" (below). Childhood can be synonymous with Disney movies, shows, and television characters. From Princess Jazmin to the newly-introduced Star Wars themes, a Disney cruise, while not cheap, is a wonderful deep-dive for parents, grandparents, and kids to enjoy and live out their magical fantasies. In fact, Disney Cruise Lines was named "Best for Families" by the 2017 Cruise Critic Editors' Picks Awards.
2. No Gambling
With Disney, family conquers all, meaning there's no casino or gambling opportunities on their ships. However, the space opens up for more family fun and activities that few other cruise lines can compete with. Disney Cruise Lines boasts engagement through "Deck Parties" like Star Wars Day At Sea or Pirate Night, to name a few. Disney characters abound at nearly all themed parties on the ship, and Pirate Night includes a dinner and fireworks.
3. Best Private Island - Disney's Castaway Cay
How about a private island experience? That's what Disney Cruise Lines offers its sailors. Though it's not the only line that features a private island, it ranks as one of the best (some would say the best). More than 60 full-time Disney employees live on Castaway Cay in the Bahamas. On the island, teens can enjoy Teen Beach while adults (and adults only) hang out at Serenity Bay (kids, you might not understand the name quite yet.) Castaway Cay has the perfect beaches to complement the anchors aweigh life on the high seas.
Keep a look out over the coming days for more cruise line reviews and thoughts.
